ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Emily's (of Emily's Something) husband's brother's wife (we're married to brothers--does that make sense?). Anywho, I wanted to ask you about Tom of Maine's deodorant since you posted about it in her brands post. For a long time, I've been a bit wary about using something artificial to stop the natural process of, well, perspiring. That just doesn't seem right. But I don't want to smell bad either! Is that what Tom of Maine's does? Deodorant, but not anti-perspirant? I hope you don't mind me posting on here, but I didn't see a contact email. I'll subscribe to these comments (great post, btw) and if you have time and write back, I'll get it via email. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBoquinha - hello!
ReplyDeleteYes, the Tom's of Maine is just deodorant. Some of theirs might also be anti-perspirant, but it's clearly printed on the package, so you'll know if you're preventing the stink, or artificially stopping the sweat. :-) What also helps is baking soda - I put some on my pits in the shower, leave for a short bit, then rinse and shave.
Thank you so much for the information. I've checked out their website a bit. Very interesting company! And thanks for the tip, too. Love natural ideas/ways of doing things. :)
